● Only operate the product at ground level.
● Make sure to keep your balance at all times.
● Do not run with the product.
● Make sure that the ventilation openings are free from
debris.

Operation

3.1

To adjust the rear handle

(Figure 2)

Push and hold the handle rotation latch (A).

Adjust the rear handle to an applicable position.

Release the handle rotation latch. Make sure that the
rear handle locks into position.

3.2 To attach the battery

Warning! Make sure that the power switch is not
pushed when the battery is attached.
● Push the battery into the battery holder. Make sure that
the battery locks into position. (Figure 3)
Caution! Do not force the battery into the battery
holder.

3.3 To remove the battery

● Push and hold the lock button on the battery and remove
it from the battery holder.

3.4 To operate the product

Note! Prune twigs larger than 15 mm with pruning sheers.

Remove the cutting bar cover.

Hold the product tightly with one hand on the front
handle and one hand on the rear handle.

Push and hold the front handle safety switch (A).

Push and hold the rear handle safety switch (B).

Push and hold the the power switch (C) to start the
product. (Figure 4)

Release the rear handle safety switch (B). (Figure 4)

Move the product slowly to trim the sides of the
hedge from the bottom and up. Then trim the top part
of the hedge. (Figure 5)
Note! Do not force the product through thick shrubbery.

Release the power switch to turn off the product.

Maintenance

4.1

To clean the product

Clean the product after each use.

Remove the battery from the product.

Remove dirt and debris from the product with a soft
brush.

If needed, clean the product with a moist cloth and a
mild detergent.

4.2 To lubricate the cutting bar

Lubricate the cutting bar after each use or during prolonged
operation.

Remove the battery from the product.

Put the product on a flat and stable surface.

Apply lightweight machine oil along the edge on top
of the cutting bar. (Figure 6)

Storage

Remove the battery from the product.

Clean the product.

Attach the cutting bar cover. (Figure 7)

Store the product in a dry and frost-free place
protected from direct sunlight.

Disposal

● Make sure that you follow local regulations when you
discard the product. Do not burn the product.
