Preparing the Camera for Use
Format
Caution:
1 . Formatting erases all data on the SD memory card, including protected data .
2 . Do not remove the SD card during formatting as this may damage the card and make it
unusable .
3 . When your card is full, download the media from the SD card to your PC and delete the
photos and videos . The photos and videos so you can continue to use your camera for high-
quality photos and videos .
4 . To format the memory card, press the menu button twice to open the settings menu . Press
the Up or Down button to find "Format" and press OK button to enter the submenu . Select
"OK" to format the memory card .
