Preparing the Camera for Use

Your digital camera needs a lithium-ion battery to work .
1 . Slide the battery cover lever to the left and open the battery
compartment on the bottom of the camera .
2 . Insert the battery into the camera as shown in the diagram .
3 . Close the battery compartment by closing the flap and
sliding the battery compartment lever to the right .
When you switch on your camera, the battery symbol appears
at the bottom right of the LCD screen:
Full battery power
Medium battery power
Low battery power
