Malfunction
Lamp does not light up.

Cause
Safety switch-off activated.
Insufficient sealing.
The locking screw has not been
undone.
A vacuum has formed inside the
unit.

ture measurement
Remedy
For safety reasons, the lamps are deac-
tivated when the unit is opened.
When lamps are defective, ErL1 or ErL2
appears on the display.
 Check the seal position.
 Tighten the screw connection.
Undo the locking screw.
Switch on the unit and allow it to warm
up for a few minutes. Subsequently pull
the power plug and remove the unit
head.
The temperature probes are precise to
 1 °C. If other units with temperature
display are operated, the displayed tem-
perature values may differ from one an-
other by up to 2 °C.
 Recommendation: The arithmetic
mean of all displayed values produces
a useful approximation of the actual
temperature.
 Greater deviations are possible if the
units are exposed to direct sunlight.
For this reason, ensure that the unit
is installed such that it is protected
from direct sunlight.
