Principe de fonctionnement
Le télévariateur EV 011 permet de faire varier
la luminosité d'une charge incandescente,
halogène basse tension (BT 230 V), halogène
très basse tension (TBT 12 V ou 24 V) avec
transformateur ferromagnétique.
Le réglage du niveau d'éclairement se fait
par des boutons poussoirs lumineux ou
standards raccordés au produit :
- par appuis brefs :allumage ou
extinction de l'éclairage.
- par appuis maintenus : variation de
la luminosité jusqu'au niveau minimum ou
maximum. Le sens de la variation est inversé
à chaque nouvel appui maintenu.

Working principle
The remote control dimmer EV 011 allows to
control the lighting level of an incandescent
load, LV halogen lamp (230 V), and Extra Low
Voltage halogen lamp (ELV 12 V or 24 V) with
ferromagnetic transformer.
The light level is adjusted using a remotely
mounted push button:
- short press : to switch the
device ON or OFF.
- maintain pressure : to vary between the
minimum and maximum lighting level.
Each new maintained pressure reverses the
dimming direction.

Funktionsbeschreibung
Der Ferndimmer EV 011 ermöglicht es die
Helligkeit von Glühlampen, Halogenleuchten
(230 V), und Niederspannungs-Halogenleuchten
(12 V oder 24 V) mit konventionellen
Transformatoren, zu dimmen.
Die Einstellung der Helligkeit erfolgt über an
das Gerät angeschlossene, beleuchtete Taster
oder Standard-Taster:
- kurzer Druck:
Ein- bzw. Ausschalten.
- langer Druck:
Verstellen der Helligkeit.
Die Regelspanne reicht von Minimum bis
Maximum. Die Regelrichtung wird bei jedem
neuen langen Druck umgekehrt.

Protection contre la surchauffe
En cas de surchauffe la puissance
disponible est automatiquement réduite.
Pour remédier à ce phénomène :
- adapter ou diminuer la charge raccordée sur la
sortie du variateur,
- diminuer la température du produit et celle
de l'enveloppe en insérant des intercalaires
de dissipation (ex : LZ 060) de part et d'autre
du variateur EV 011 et en assurant une bonne
ventilation.

Protection against overheating
In the event of overheating or overload the power
available is automatically reduced.
To remedy this situation :
- adjust or lower the load connected to the output
of the dimmer,
- lower the T° of the device and that of casing by
inserting heat dissipation inserts on both sides of
the EV 011 dimmer, while ensuring a good
ventilation.

Schutz gegen bertemperatur
Ü
Bei Übertemperatur wird die Abgabeleistung
automatisch reduziert.
Gegenmaßnahmen :
- Abstand zu benachbarten Geräten erhöhen
(z. B. Distanzstück LZ 060) und Verteiler gut
belüften.
- Angeschlossene Lampenleistung verringern.

Garantie
24 mois contre tous vices de matières ou de fabrication, à par-
tir de leur date de production. En cas de défectuosité, le produit
doit être remis au grossiste habituel.
La garantie ne joue que si la procédure de retour via l'installa-
teur et le grossiste est respectée et si après expertise notre ser-
vice contrôle qualité ne détecte pas un défaut dû à une mise en
œuvre et/ou une utilisation non conforme aux règles de l'art.
Les remarques éventuelles expliquant la défectuosité devront
accompagner le produit.
To allow heat to dissipate and keep the unit
cool, place the EV 011 at the bottom of any
enclosure.
Warranty
A warranty period of 24 months is offered on hager products,
from date of manufacture, relating to any material of manufac-
turing defect. If any product is found to be defective it must be
returned via the installer and supplier (wholesaler).
The warranty is withdrawn if :
- after inspection by hager quality control dept the device is
found to have been installed in a manner which is contrary to
IEE wiring regulations and accepted practice within the industry
at the time of installation.
- the procedure for the return of goods has not been followed.
Explanation of defect must be included when returning goods.
