Tips
•
Small-sized food usually require a slightly shorter cooking time than large-size foods.
•
Shake the food of smaller size halfway through the cooking time to improve the final result. This also
prevents the food from cooking unevenly.
•
Add a little oil to fresh potatoes for a crispy result. Fry the potatoes within a few minutes after adding
a spoonful of oil.
•
The air fryer is also suitable for reheating food. To reheat food, set the temperature to 160°C for up
to 10 minutes.
8 Cleaning and maintenance
For hygienic reasons, regularly clean the outside and
inside of the appliance, including accessories and
interior fittings.
Before carrying out any maintenance and servicing
work, disconnect the appliance from the mains power
supply.
ATTENTION
APPLIANCE DAMAGE!
Improper use of the appliance can result in damage.
•
Switch off the appliance and remove the
plug from the plug socket before cleaning.
•
Use a soft cloth for cleaning.
•
The appliance is not dishwasher safe.
•
Never immerse the appliance in water.
•
Never clean the appliance with a steam
cleaner. Moisture could get into electrical
components.
•
The pan and the grille have a non-stick
coating. Do not use abrasive or aggressive
cleaning agents.
Do not use abrasive sponges.
•
Essential oils and organic solvents, e.g. the
juice of lemon or orange peel, butyric acid
or cleaning agents containing acetic acid
can attack plastic parts. Do not allow such
substances to come into contact with parts
of the appliance.
ATTENTION
Short circuit!
Water in the housing can cause a short circuit.
Never immerse the appliance in water and make sure
that no water gets into the motor base.

8.1 Cleaning the appliance
1.
Pull out the mains plug.
2.
Allow the appliance to cool down.
3.
To dismantle the appliance, see "Getting to
know the appliance". (Gerät bedienen)
4.
Clean all loose parts except the housing under
warm running water or in the dishwasher.
5.
Clean the appliance after each use.
6.
Wash the pan and the grille with hot water, a
little washing-up liquid and a non-abrasive
sponge.
7.
Wipe the inside of the appliance with a cloth
moistened in hot water.
8.
Clean the heating element with a dry cleaning
brush to remove food residues.
Tip: If dirt sticks to the bottom of the pan owl and
the grille, fill the pan with hot water and a little
dishwashing liquid. Leave the pan and the grille to
soak for about 10 minutes. Then rinse and dry both
parts.
8.2 Storage
Clean the appliance again if necessary.
Store the appliance and all accessories in a dry place
away from direct sunlight and from access by children
or animals.
