7 Putting into operation
Unpacking the appliance
Before opening, check the packaging for damage. The
packaging materials must be undamaged.
Inspect the appliance for transport damage. On no
account should a damaged appliance be used. In case
of damage, contact the supplier/dealer.
Remove the appliance from the packaging.

Check delivery for completeness.

In case of incomplete or damaged delivery,

contact customer service - see service
address.
ATTENTION
APPLIANCE DAMAGE!
•
Do not cut packaging material with a sharp
object, e.g. carpet knife.
•
Remove the transport protection.
•
The appliance and installation parts or
accessories are secured for transport.
Remove all adhesive tapes and packaging
parts from the appliance.
•
There may be stickers with warnings on the
appliance. These must be observed and not
removed from the appliance.
7.1 Using for the first time
Cleaning the appliance
Remove the packaging material and all
→
protective films.
Before using the appliance for the first time,
→
clean all parts of the appliance as described
in the "Cleaning" section.
Setting up the appliance
•
Place the appliance on a flat, firm and heat-
resistant work surface protected from water
splashes.
•
Do not fill the pan with oil or other liquids.
•
Do not place anything on top of the
appliance, this would interrupt the air flow
and affect the air frying result.
7.2 Electrical connection
To ensure safe and fault-free operation of the
appliance, the following instructions must be observed
when making the electrical connection:
Before connecting the appliance, compare the

connection data (voltage and frequency) on
the type plate with those of your electrical
network. This data must match to prevent
damage to the appliance. If in doubt, contact
a qualified electrician.
The socket must be protected by a 16A circuit
✓
breaker.
If using an extension cable, it must have a
✓
cross-section of 1.5mm².
7.3 Operating the appliance
Preheating
1.
Plug the mains power cable of the appliance
into a mains socket.
2.
If necessary, preheat the appliance without
food.
3.
Set the temperature to the desired position.
4.
Turn the timer to 10 min; the appliance
starts.
5.
After the set timer period has elapsed, the
appliance is preheated and ready for
operation.
6.
Carefully pull the pan out of the appliance.
7.
Place the food to be cooked/fried in it.
8.
Do not exceed the Max line when filling. This
could affect the quality of the frying.
9.
Push the pan back into the air fryer.
CAUTION
DANGER OF BURNS IF THE
APPLIANCE IS PREHEATED.
•
Always hold the pan by the handle.
•
Do not turn the pan upside down;
accumulated fat could drip onto the food.
•
After air frying, the food is very hot.
Air frying
1.
Set the temperature regulator to the required
temperature.
2.
Set timer period, max. 30 minutes, to start
the appliance.
3.
When you can hear the acoustic signal of the
timer, the set time has expired.
4.
You can switch off the appliance manually.
5.
Turn the timer anti-clockwise to 0.
6.
Carefully pull out the pan.
7.
Remove the cooked food from the pan with
tongs.
CAUTION
•
Do not turn the pan upside down;
accumulated fat could drip onto the food.
•
After air frying, the food is very hot.
