OPERATION
Put a record on the platter, release the rest clamp. (Fig.20)
Press the READY switch (-—)
Note:Be sure not to set the READY switch to "OFF"
while
playing
a record.
If set to "OFF",
record
playing is impossible as the stylus force becomes
"O". (Fig. 21)
Select turntable speed with the SPEED switch according to
the rpm of the record, (Fig. 22)
. Set the SIZE switch according to the record size. (Fig. 23)
Press the START/STOP switch gently, the turntable starts
to
rotate,
(upon
reaching
optimum
rpm,
the QUARTZ
LOCK indicator lights) the tonearm will automatically lead-
in and start to play. (Fig. 24)
"To
stop record
play, press
the START/STOP
switch.
The
tonearm returns automatically to the rest, and
turntable
rotation
stops.
Take
care
that the REPEAT
indicator isn't lit, if it is, the play is repeated
"Depress
the REPEAT
switch to play record repeatedly.
The
REPEAT
indicator
lights to show
that repeating
operation is set
"AL the end of the record the tonearm returns automatical-
ly to the rest and
turntable
rotation
stops. Clamp
the
tonearm on the rest, set the READY switch to OFF
Tonearm transport switch
Prass the <<"
(left) button of the tonearm transport
switch until the tonearm is at the desired position, release
it and tonearm travel stops. Next, press the UP/DOWN
switch so that the tonearm lowers gently to the surface of
the record. Record play will begin. (Fig. 25)
Manaul operation
For manual operation complete steps 1 — 4, put the
tonearm
on
the surface of the record, and the turntable
starts to rotate
