Kilometre counter
1 impulse / 100m
5V, max. 50mA, 100ms
The kilometre counter can be calibrated by
setting the 10-position selector switch ac-
cording to the following formula (see dia-
gram "Arrangement of terminals"):

The value "z" must be converted into binary
form and then set on the 10-position selector
switch.
Example:
Final drive ratio is 1:8.5
Wheel diameter is 0.55 m

This value is converted into binary form by
repeatedly dividing by two. If the result of the
division is a whole number, a "0" should be
written down. If the result is not a whole
number, a "1" should be noted. Each new re-
sult is again divided by two (disregarding the
digit after the decimal point).
The selector switches should be closed at
each "1" and left open at each "0".

Kilometerzähler

Der Kilometerzähler kann mit dem 10pol-
Wahlschalter (Siehe Anordnung Anschlüs-
se) nach folgender Formel geeicht werden:
Ü = final drive ratio
Ü = Übersetzungsverhältnis
d = wheel diameter in metres
d = Raddurchmesser in Meter
Die Zahl Z muss nun in die binäre Form ge-
bracht werden und kann dann am 10pol
Schalter eingestellt werden.
Beispiel:

Diese Zahl wird nun in die binäre Form ge-
bracht, indem sie laufend durch zwei dividiert
wird. Wenn das Resultat eine ganze Zahl er-
gibt, notiert man eine 0, gibt das Resultat ei-
nen Rest, schreibt man eine 1. Die neue Zahl
dividiert man ohne die Stellen nach dem
Komma weiter durch 2.
Bei jeder 1 wird der Schalter geschlossen, bei
0 geöffnet.
