Commissioning and operating the series HDE
WARNING
For commissioning and operating the series HDE proceed as follows:

Device switch On/Off (12, figure 9) to position "0" (if required).
Ÿ
Thermostat (11, figure 9) to position "OFF".
Ÿ
Connect AC power cable connector (1, figure 10) to facility AC power outlet.
Ÿ
Open the water supply shut off valve.
Ÿ
Device switch On/Off (12, figure 9) to position "1". This initializes the heating
operation (Stand-By operation).
Ÿ
Set thermostat (11, figure 9) to desired temperature value (max. 70° C). Up to
a few minutes the boiler water warms up to the value of the temperature set-
ting.

Pull trigger of trigger gun (7, figure 10) and set device switch (12, figure 9) to
position "2". The heating and high pressure pump are in operation. Initially the
pump conveys air for a short period. Then the water emerges from the nozzle
(10, figure 10).
Ÿ
Set unloader valve (2, figure 10) to desired pressure value.
Ÿ
After completing the cleaning works the device switch (12, figure 9) may be
switched to position "1" (Stand-By operation). The boiler water will also be
warmed up and kept on the value of temperature setting.
NOTE

The High Pressure Cleaner jet must not be directed to persons,
animals or voltage supplied electrical equipment (machines, de-
vices, cables, electrical power outlets etc.) supplied with voltage.
Disconnect electrical equipment from power outlet, before clean-
ing.
Pulling the trigger gun (7, figure 10) and switching on the device
switch On/Off (12, figure 9) causes a kick-back at the trigger gun by
the force of the water leaving the nozzle. The trigger gun and lance
(9, figure 10) should be held firmly.
Independent from activating or deactivating the trigger gun, the
boiler water warms up to the value of the temperature setting.
