1 Function and features
The rising stem valve sensor IX is a continuous absolute distance mea-
surement system with a measuring stroke of 80 mm. The sensor is used
for position feedback for rising stem valves. An analogue output (1...5 V)
is available for position detection.
The rising stem valve sensor IX has to be adapted to fit different
valve types. The instructions in the chapter Mounting (page 11)
are to be observed when designing the adapters and the fixtu-
res.
