NOTICE:
Before first use, we recommend boiling the maximum volume of water at least 3 times and pour it out.
Afterwards, the kettle is ready for use.
The kettle may only be used with the supplied base.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove the lid and fill the kettle with water within the marked minimum & maximum range. Replace the lid and
make sure it is properly closed
2. Place the kettle on the stand and plug it into a power outlet.
3. Press the On/Off button to switch the kettle on, the display lights up and the current temperature is shown.
By pressing the On/Off button repeatedly, the kettle will automatically boil water to 100°C. To select a different
temperature, press the temperature setting button and each subsequent press of the temperature setting
button will increase the temperature by 10°C. Confirm the selected temperature by pressing the On/Off button.
The colour backlight of the kettle changes depending on the water temperature, see table.
4. When the desired temperature is reached, the kettle beeps 3 times and switches off automatically.
Note: Boiling water can be interrupted at any time by removing the kettle from the base or by pressing
the On/Off button.
Keep warm
To set this function, hold the On/Off button for 3 seconds. The indicator on the left side of the display lights up to
indicate the Keep warm function is on. The Keep warm function is active for two hours when the kettle is on the base.
After 2 hours you are alerted by an audible signal. If you wish to cancel the Keep warm function, press the On/Off
button - the Keep warm indicator will go out.

Note:
A few drops of water appearing on the base of the kettle after use is not a sign of a defect. It is a small amount of
•
condensed steam, which deactivates the kettle thermostat.
