3.2 Contraindications
Contraindications cannot be tied to a specific clinical picture. Under consideration of the safety information (see
item 2), the product may not be used if the patient has any of the following conditions:
Patients, who are not allowed to bathe

Patients with elevated muscle tone (e. g. spastic tetraplegia)
➢
Patients with reduced muscle tone (e. g. ALS or MS)

Improper use of the handle → Risk of entrapment

Backrest is not inserted correctly - Backrest tilts when loaded → Risk of falling

3.6.2 Setup in the tub

Place the Bathlift Peter Pan

Place the included crank in the crank receiver in the front on the Bathlift Peter Pan
➢
Turn the crank in the counter clockwise direction until the device is in the uppermost position
➢
Place the cover on the seat
➢
Important: Insert the top into the cover first
➢
Insert the sides into the cover and secure the snap fastener at the bottom
➢
Place the Bathlift Peter Pan

Long should rest on the floor of the bathtub just before the place where the tub curves up.
Press the seat down firmly so that the two front suction cups attach securely.
