preparing the boiler for operation
Control unit programming
Warning: close the control unit with the screws
before powering on.
There are two options:
Scenario no. 1: the boiler includes an ATAG zone
connection; configurations are made from the boiler
or from a product HMI (option).
Scenario no. 2: the control unit is independent,
and the zones are configured from the product HMI
supplied as an option.
Initialisation
Before starting the procedure, check that all the
circuits have water and that the air purge has
finished.
Once all equipment is connected, the system
recognises the equipment and carries out automatic
initialisation

Configuring the control unit from the
boiler
1) Switch on the display by pressing the OK
button. The screen is activated.
2) Press and hold the
system interface simultaneously for 5 seconds.
3) Press the OK button. When CODE is displayed,
press OK; code 000 will appear.
4) Turn the selector wheel to the right then display
code 007 and confirm with the OK button.
5) MENU appears on the screen; confirm then
select menu 7 and confirm with the OK button.
6) Select sub-menu 72 and confirm with the OK
button.
7) Select sub-menu 720 and confirm with the OK
button.
8) Select the parameter that corresponds to the
hydraulic configuration according to the table
below, then confirm with the OK button.
9) Press the Back button repeatedly to return to
the boiler display.

Configuring the control unit using the
system interface
1) Switch on the display by pressing the OK
button. The screen is activated.
2) Press and hold the
system interface simultaneously for 5 seconds.
3) Using the selector wheel, display code 234 then
confirm with the OK button.
4) Turn the button clockwise to access the MENU
option then confirm with the OK key.
5) Look for menu 7 "Multizone Module" using
the selector wheel then confirm with the OK
button. Select sub-menu 72 "Multizone" then
confirm with the OK button. Select parameter
720 then confirm with the OK button and select
the parameter that corresponds to the hydraulic
configuration according to the table below, then
confirm with the OK button.
Air purge
The module's automatic air purge function is only
activated from the boiler if there is a ATAG zone
connection (scenario no. 1).
The air purge function is activated by pressing and
holding the Back button on the boiler for 5 seconds
or by activating parameter 7 0 1.
With the purge function activated, the module
switches the pump on and off. This causes the air in
the circuit to start circulating. You can activate a new
cycle if necessary.
Frost protection function
If the flow sensor measures a temperature lower
than 5°C, the frost protection function is activated.
If the frost protection function is activated, the
module starts the circulating pump. This allows frost
protection to be extended to zones 1 and 2.
Anti-jamming function
After every 24 hours of inactivity, an anti-jamming
cycle is performed on the circulating pump and the
mixing valve.
