Power-Supply-Modul CMP490 einbauen nach Montage des
■
Anschlussmoduls
Bei nachträglichem Einbau: bisherige Spannungsversorgungs-
■
leitungen zum Anschlussmodul komplett entfernen
1. Gerätedeckel des Anschlussmoduls lösen und abnehmen.
2. Deckel mit eingebautem Power-Supply-Modul kopfüber in Füh-
rungsnut hinten am Anschlussmodul einstecken (Parkposition).
3. Nach Beendigung der elektrischen Anschlussarbeiten für das
Wechselstromnetz (siehe 4. Elektrische Installation) die Installa-
tion testen und Deckel wieder befestigen.
4. Elektrische Installation
GEFAHR
Verletzungsgefahr durch elektrischen Strom!
Das Power-Supply-Modul CMP490 wird an Wechsel-
spannung AC 100 V ... 250 V, 50 Hz ... 60 Hz
angeschlossen.
Anschluss nur durch ausreichend qualifiziertes Fachpersonal
durchführen lassen.
Bei Arbeiten in elektrischen Anlagen die einschlägigen Sicher-
heitsvorschriften beachten.
Modul CMP490 nur eingebaut im geschlossenen Anschluss-
modul in Betrieb nehmen. Sonst ggf. Berührungsgefahr mit
gefährlicher Wechselspannung!

Verdrahtung des CMP490
Im Anschlussmodul ist PE mit Shield verbunden.

Die schwarze Frontblende (Metall) des Anschlussmoduls muss
■
an Shield angeschlossen sein (Auslieferungszustand).
Der Kühlkörper außen auf dem Deckel ist isoliert.
Für die Schraubklemmen des CMP490 Kupferleitungen mit
■
einem Aderquerschnitt von 1,5 mm
Hierbei nur Anschlussmaterial (Leitungen/isolierte Adern) mit
Bemessungsdaten gemäß UL 2565 VW-1 oder gleichwertigen
UL-Normen verwenden.
Netzleitung beim Anschluss nur so kurz als möglich vom Kabel-
■
mantel befreien, um Schutz vor gefährlichen Körperströmen
durch schadhafte Einzeladern zu gewährleisten (Doppelisolation)
Wechselstromnetz über Stecker oder Schalter spannungsfrei an
■
das CMP490 anschließen.
1. Im Anschlussmodul den Schalter S 1 (Power) auf „OFF" stellen.
2. Stecker der Flachbandleitung des CMP490 auf die entsprechen-
de Federleiste der Basiskarte aufsetzen und vorsichtig andrük-
ken. Leitung dabei nicht mehrfach in sich verdrehen.
Zuführende Netzleitung anschließen:
3. Netzleitung durch eine der oberen drei Kabelverschraubungen
an der Frontseite bis zur Netzklemmenleiste des CMP490
führen.

3. Installation
Installation of connection module: see CDM420/CDM490

operating instructions.
Install the power supply module after mounting the connection
■
module.
When retrofitting the connection module remove the current
■
power cable from the connection module completely.
1. Remove the cover of the CDM420/CDM490 connection module.
2. Insert the bracket to the cover with the CMP490 headlong into
the guide slot on the back of the CDM420/490 (park position).
3. Once you have finished the electrical connection for the AC
power line (see 4. Electrical Installation) and tested the installa-
tion, replace and secure the cover.
4. Electrical Installation
DANGER
Shock hazard!
The CMP490 power supply module is connected to
a voltage of 100 V to 250 V AC, 50 Hz to 60 Hz.
The module should only be connected by sufficiently qualified
personnel.
Always observe the relevant safety instructions when working
with electrical equipment.
For safety reasons, the CMP490 module must only be operated
when installed in the closed connection module!

In the connection module, the PE is connected with a shield.

The black front aperture (metal) on the connection module must
■
be connected to the shield (as delivered).
The external heat sink on the cover is fully isolated.
For the srew terminals use copper cables with a core cross-
■
section of 1.5 mm
to 2.5 mm

To do so, use only connecting material (cables oder isolated
wires) with rated values according to UL 2565 VW-1 or other
equivalent UL norms.
For safety reasons, strip the insulation of the AC power line only
■
as short as necessary to maintain protection against dangerous
body contact due to damaged individual cores ( double insulation ).
Connect the AC power line to the CMP490 using a switch or a
■
connector (only when the power supply is switched off).
1. In the connection module set switch S 1 (Power) to "OFF".
2. Insert the ribbon cable plug of the CMP490 into the corres-
ponding socket on the main board and carefully press in.
Do not twistle the cable more than once.
Connecting the AC power line:
3. Insert the AC power line into one of the three cable glands on
top of the front panel and route the end of the cable to the AC
terminal strip of the CMP490.
