• If the cooker hood and room air-dependent fireplac-
es or appliances are operated simultaneously with
exhaust air, insufficient supply air can cause a nega-
tive pressure, drawing smoke and toxic combustion
gases from chimneys or exhaust air shafts back into
the living rooms.
In this case there is a danger to life!
Always ensure that there is a sufficient supply of
fresh air when the cooker bonnet is in exhaust air
mode. Follow the instructions in the installation
chapter.
• Edges and components can be sharp-edged and
cause injuries. Exercise appropriate caution during
installation and protect yourself if necessary, e.g.
with work gloves.
• If not installed properly, the appliance may be un-
stable and fall down. Follow all the instructions in
the installation chapter carefully and make sure the
mounting is solid and secure.
• Note that the appliance can heat up considerably
due to rising heat during cooking.
Be careful and do not touch the housing and the
grease filters until they have cooled down.
• The light from LED luminaires can be very intense
and can damage the eyes.
Avoid looking directly into the switched-on lumi-
naires, especially for babies.
