5. Before starting the equipment
The lawn mower is delivered unassembled. The
complete push bar and the grass basket must be
assembled before using the lawn mower. Follow the
operating instructions step-by-step and use the
pictures provided as a visual guide to easily
assemble the machine.
Assembling the long handle (Fig. 3-6)
Pull the long handle apart as shown in Figure 3.
Make sure when doing so that the motor cable is
not jammed.
Tighten the two star screws (Fig.4/Item A)

Now you can select one of the 4 different heights
of the long handle, between 86.5 and 113 cm.
Important.
The handle height may only be adjusted within the
marked area.
Secure the long handle in the desired position
using the two star screws (Fig.5/Item B)
Important.
Always set the identical handle height on both sides.
Use the cable clips to align the cable in
230 V ~ 50Hz

2/Item 12) part of the housing together as shown in

Lift the ejector flap (Fig. 8a / Item 5) with one hand.
With the other hand, hold the grass bag by the

handle and attach it from above (Fig. 8a). Ensure

that the two eyelets are securely attached as shown
in Fig. 8b.
Adjusting the cutting height
Important. Adjust the cutting height only when the
motor is switched off and the power cable has been
disconnected.
Before you begin to mow, check to ensure that the
blade is not blunt and that none of the fasteners are
damaged. To prevent any imbalance, replace blunt
and/or damaged blades. To carry out this check, first
switch off the motor and pull out the power plug.
The cutting height is adjusted as shown in Figs. 9.
1. Pull out the lever (A).
2. Set the lever (A) to the desired cutting height.
3. Release the lever and check that it is securely
seated in the lock.
The cutting height can be set between 25-75 mm in
10 intervals, and can be read off on the scale (Fig.
9/Item B).
Power supply
The lawn mower can be connected to any light
socket-outlet with a 230 Volt alternating current.
However, the socket outlet must have an earthing
contact protected by a 16 A circuit breaker.
Additionally, a residual current device (RCD) circuit-
breaker with max. 30 mA must be used!
