5. Transport
CAUTION
Risk of injury and material damage due to in-
correct transport.
►Only transport the product when it is dis-
mantled.
►Wear protective gloves and safety shoes
during transport.
6. Use
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to improper use.
►Use the product in accordance with its in-
tended use, see chapter „1.2 Use as inten-
ded" on page 10.
ACHTUNG
Damage to the product due to incorrect use
►Check the product for damage before use.
Use of a defective or damaged product is
prohibited.
►Do not let go of the handle when retracting
or extending the side awning.
►Always check that the bracket is correctly
seated in the awning post. Always check the
correct fit of the bracket in the awning post.
►Only roll up the awning when it is dry to pre-
vent the formation of stains and mould.
►Use the product as shown in chapter „1.2 Use as in-
tended" on page 10
7. Disassembly
►Disassemble the product in reverse order of as-
sembly, see chapter „14. Assembly" auf Seite
35.
►Always disassemble the product with a second
person.
8. Store
NOTICE
Damage to the product due to incorrect
storage.
►Store the product assembled and upright
or disassembled afterwards in a dark,
cool, dry and well-ventilated place.
►Make sure that no sharp-edged, poin-
ted or scratching objects can damage
the material.Protect the product from
dust and moisture.
►Do not place any objects on the pro-
duct because of deformations that
may occur.
►Only roll up the awning when it is dry
to prevent the formation of stains and
mould.
8.1 Prolonged non-use
►Cover the product with a foil when not in use
for a longer period of time.
►If the product will not be used for a long period
of time or before winter, store it dismantled so
that all parts are protected from damage by
severe weather conditions.
9. Maintenance and schedule
9.1 Cleaning
NOTICE
Damage caused by incorrect cleaning
agents.
►Check the compatibility of the clea-
ning agent with the surface on an in-
conspicuous area.
►Do not use any organic solvents, boiling
water, strong acids or alkaline cleaning
agents for cleaning. Wire brushes and
other pointed and hard brushes can
also damage the material.
►Remove dust and light dirt with a damp cloth or a
soft brush.
►Use a mild, non-flammable and food-safe clea-
ning agent or a cloth dampened with water for
heavy soiling.Regular maintenance increases
the safety and longevity of your product.
9.2 Maintenance plan
►Before each use, check the product for signs
of wear and damage to the bracket, lock and
covering. Check whether any parts have be-
come loose or distorted and fix them again if
