7. Troubleshooting
The following measures must be performed by the manufacturer, a service organisation,
or another qualified person:
• Replacement of the power cord.
• Cleaning the heating element with compressed air. In case of severe soiling, remove the
top cover.
Symptom
The device is not working.
The device is not heating but the fan is
running.
Loud operating noises.
Remedy
Make sure that the mains plug is correctly
inserted and that voltage is applied.
Check whether the thermostat (2) is set
too low.
Allow the device to cool down. Overload
protection may have switched off the
device due to increased temperature.
Allow the device to cool down.
Check whether the power adjustment con-
trol (1) is in position 1. In this case, set it
to position 2 or 3 as required.
