Transport
The following instructions must be followed during transportation and handling:
• OMRON EUROPE B.V. linear axes must be transported and stored always in its original shipping box
• Make sure to read and understand all stickers been attached outside of the wooden shipping box or been placed
inside
• If for any reason, the linear system needs to be shipped back to OMRON EUROPE B.V. or being shipped to
some other place, make sure to always and exclusively use original shipping box provided by OMRON EUROPE
B.V.

After Receiving
Pay attention to the stickers applied outside and inside the wooden shipping box.
If a customs inspection is required, please try to have this inspection carried out within your company. It is very
probable that the protective foil wrapping of the linear system inside the wooden box can become damaged during
the customs inspection. Thereafter, the system could be exposed to adverse weather conditions that may cause
malfunctioning or reduced lifetime of the system.
The whole shipment must be stored in a dry and (if available and necessary) heated environment. It is forbidden to
store the shipment outdoors.
Additionally make sure to keep rain and direct sunlight and/or heat radiation away from shipment or the linear sys-
tem itself.
Please make sure to check the shipment thoroughly in presence of the carrier during receipt.
Check all shock indicators for their status. If one of these indicates poor treatment of the
transported item, please proceed as follows:
• Do not refuse shipment
• State and confirm that the shock indicators have been triggered on the delivery slip
• Inspect the whole shipment on every side for possible damage to the wooden box
• Immediately contact your local OMRON EUROPE B.V. representative
Compare your order form with the supplied goods, if a difference is noticed please contact your local OMRON
EUROPE B.V. representative.
