3.6 Emergency Video Protection
If G-Sensor is enabled and senses an unusual impact or collision the dash cam
will automatically protect the currently recorded video from being overwritten.
An EMR icon appears top left to signify the current recording is protected.
To manually protect a video file during a recording, press the 'Menu' button
(3) once.
3.7 Vibration Detection (G-Senor)
The Vibration Detection feature senses for unusual impacts or collisions
detected by the built-in G-Sensor.
It automatically triggers the Emergency Video Protection.
Set the sensitivity to automatically trigger these features with smaller or
larger vibrations (feature can also be turned Off).
G-Sensor sensitivity can be adjusted from:
Settings > G-Sensor > Off / Low / Medium / High
3.8 Motion Detection
A prerequisite for Motion Detect function is that the dash camera is in power
on status. Once the dash cam is power off, this function will not work.
With Motion Detection enabled, once no motion is detected by the front
camera in 5 minutes, the dash cam will stop recording and enter standby
mode, the screen will turn off at the moment.
The camera will start recording for 30 seconds when motion is detected by the
front camera. The screen remains off, a flashing red LED indicates recording.
Once no further motion is detected within 30 seconds, video recording will
automatically pause and the dash cam enters standby mode again. The screen
remains off.
Once the dash cam detects position or speed change by GPS, or vibration/collision
by G-Sensor for more than 3 seconds, it will exit Motion Detect function and
enter normal Loop Recording mode.
