Net under the parcel shelf
The accessories are intended for professional fitting. ŠKODA AUTO recommends that they are
fitted by a contractual partner.
The net storage pocket under the parcel shelf (hereafter simply referred to as the "net
pocket") (order no. 5E5 065 110) is designed exclusively for the Octavia (5E3).

Fitting procedure
› Remove the parcel shelf from the luggage compartment.

› Centre the template (F) on the parcel shelf as shown in the figure.
› Mark the points where the holes are to be drilled (see arrows) on the parcel shelf using a
suitable felt-tip pen.
Please note: Ensure that the markings are in the exact centre of the
holes in the template.

› Drill holes with a diameter of 3 mm at the points that you marked (eight in total), and then
enlarge them to a diameter of 7 mm.
› Using a fine brush, remove any burring that is left after drilling the holes.

› From the top side of the parcel shelf, push the caps (C) into the holes you have drilled.
Position the caps such that their triangular shape fits exactly into the holes in the bar (B).
› Slide the net pocket into the bar (B) as shown in the details in the figure and secure it in
that position.
› Position the bar on the caps and screw it gently to the parcel shelf using the screws (E).
› The procedure for fitting the bar on the other side of the parcel shelf is exactly the same.
