Use in winter season
We recommend to install the trough drinker into a water circuit means of a connection set ¾" (103.1984). The water circuit is then connected to a SUEVIA
Heating Unit. This guarantees a frost-protected use throughout the year. See heating unit instructions.
Heated version
Heating element (131.0524, 24 V, 80 W) can be installed at any time to keep water inside of the bowl frost-free. For frost protection of the water line a frost
protection heating cable 101.0861 (24 V, 20 W, 2 m / 6,56 ft), or 101.1863 (24 V, 30 W, 3 m / 9,84 ft) can be supplied. The heating cable should be wrapped
around the feed pipe and connected to the heating element of the drinker in parallel to the power supply cable, coming from the transformer. If this heating
cable is installed on plastic pipes, make sure that this water pipe is suited for warm and cold water. For better heat distribution the water pipe has to be wrap-
ped first with an aluminium adhesive tape (101.1099). For increased frost protection of the valve an installation of a valve heating is recommended (131.0527,
24 V, 7 W).  For power supply a transformer is necessary. Transformer should be mounted outside of animal's reach! Only cold weather conditions require
constant heating. When it is not so cold outside, heating can be interrupted by drawing out the transformer's plug. As alternative to this for automatic switch
on/off of the treansformer we recommend to install SUEVIA Thermostat (101.0389).
Electric connection
All installation, maintenance and inspection works must be carried out only by an authorised and qualified specialist. Local norms must be respected. We
recommend to ground the drinker due to electrostatic discharges. The assembly instruction of the respective electric devices are to be followed.
Fire prevention
A minimum distance of 30 mm to flammable material should be held.
Changing of valve side  from the right (as-delivered) to the left side
• Cut off the water supply.
• Unscrew 6-edges fixation screw at middle of the top cover. Untighten the nuts (102.0254) located on both sides of the drinker.
• Take off the cover (132.6006).
• Remove the valve.
• Take off the cover (132.6008).
• Mount the valve on the opposite side (water connection from the left).
• Assemble it in reverse order.
• Let the water flow  Function check.
Protection bar
A protection bar (131.1391 or 131.1394) can be installed as option for protection of the drinker. The protection bar (131.1394) only fits in conjunction with
fixation 90° (131.1050).
