4.4 Connecting the motor
(see appendix: "Arrangement of termi-
nals")
The three motor phase terminals R, S and
T should be connected to the control unit.
A cable with a cross section of at least
2
16mm
is suitable.
Follow the procedure described below
when connecting the motor:
• Connect the 3 motor cables to the phase
terminals R, S and T in any desired or-
der.
• Switch on the control unit and set the
forwards/reverse switch to the forwards
position.
• If the motor does not run properly (slow
and irregular rotation) when the accel-
erator pedal is pressed, adjust the phase
position switch to the opposite position
(see diagram "Arrangement of termi-
nals").
• If the motor then runs smoothly, but in
the wrong direction, swap the positions
of two of the motor cables (e.g. R and S)
and, at the same time, readjust the
phase position switch to the opposite
position.
The direction of rotation is correct if the
motor speed limiter is activated when the
forwards/reverse switch is in the reverse
position.
In order to ensure correct operation, the
motor type must correspond to the infor-
mation on the control unit's rating plate.
An incorrectly matched system will run er-
ratically, with reduced power and effi-
ciency. For this reason, motors from other
suppliers may not operate satisfactorily
with
these

units.
4.4 Motoranschluss
(Siehe Anhang: Anordnung Anschlüsse)
Der Motor ist mit den drei Phasen R, S und T
an die Drehstromsteuerung mit einem genü-
gend dimensionierten Kabel (min. 16mm
zuschliessen.
Beim Anschliessen ist schrittweise vorzugehen:
• Schliessen Sie die 3 Motorkabel in beliebi-
ger Reihenfolge an den Phasen R, S und T
an.
• Schalten Sie die Steuerung ein und den
Fahrtrichtungsschalter auf vorwärts.
• Falls der Motor beim Betätigen des Fahr-
potentiometers nicht richtig dreht (unruhi-
ger und nur langsamer Lauf) schalten Sie
den Schalter "Phasenlage" um. (siehe A n-
ordnung Anschlüsse)
• Wenn jetzt der Motor zwar sauber dreht,
aber in der falschen Richtung, vertauschen
Sie zwei Motorkabel, z.B. R und S und
schalten gleichzeitig den Schalter "Phasen-
lage" um.
Die richtige Motorrichtung ist durch die Dreh-
zahlbegrenzung beim Rückwärtsfahren g ege-
ben.
Nur wenn das Typenschild der Steuerung mit
dem Motortyp übereinstimmt, kann eine ein-
wandfreie Funktion gewährleistet werden.
Andernfalls läuft das System nicht mit dem
optimalen Wirkungsgrad, verringerter Leistung
und mit unregelmässigem Lauf des Motors.
Fremdfabrikate können deshalb nicht ohne
weiteres mit dieser Drehstromsteuerung be-
trieben werden.
