6. Even if neither end of the heating cable is heated, check for damage in any case.
7. Protect pipelines from frost and, if necessary, equip the pipeline with an additional heating cable and insulation.
8. The insulation must be protected with an additional waterproof sheath which is laid helically over the ....................
insulation to prevent moisture ingress.
9. Route the supply cable over the insulation towards the power supply. Here, note the following instructions:
- Fix both supply lines to the insulation, using aluminium adhesive tape.
- Route the cables so that they are out of the reach of animals.
- Cable ends (at plug or junction box) must be easily accessible for repair and maintenance work.
10. Connect both supply cables to the power supply.
Device type 222040: 230 V (IP54 junction box)
Device type 222045: 24 V (transformer required, see accessories)
Connect one supply cable to the phase and the second to the neutral.
11. Apply the gnaw protection (item number 221975, not included in the scope of delivery).
