Sfoltimento forestale con disco per legno
• Il rischio di sbalzi aumenta nel taglio di fusti di dimensioni maggiori.
Evitare pertanto di tagliare con un'area di azione del disco compresa
tra le ore 12 e le ore 3 (Fig.67).
• Per abbattere un fusto verso sinistra, è necessario spingere la base
dell'albero verso destra. Inclinare il disco e portarlo in diagonale verso il
basso a destra, esercitando una pressione decisa. Contemporaneamente
spingere il fusto utilizzando la protezione del disco.
• Tagliare con un'area di azione del disco compresa tra le ore 3 e le ore 5.
Prima di avanzare con il disco, applicare il pieno regime di funzionamento
del motore (Fig.68).
• Per abbattere un fusto verso destra, è necessario spingere la base
dell'albero verso sinistra. Inclinare il disco e portarlo in diagonale verso
l'alto a destra. Tagliare con un'area di azione del disco compresa tra le
ore 3 e le ore 5, in modo che la direzione di rotazione del disco spinga
la base degli alberi verso sinistra (Fig.69).
• Per abbattere un fusto in avanti, è necessario spingere la base dell'albero
verso destra. Tirare il disco all'indietro con un movimento rapido e
deciso (Fig.70).
• Se i fusti sono molto ravvicinati, procedere a un'andatura appropriata.
• Se il disco rimane bloccato in un fusto, non strattonare l'unità per liberarla.
Questa operazione può danneggiare il disco, la coppia conica, il tubo o il
manubrio. Rilasciare il manubrio, afferrare il tubo con entrambe le mani
e tirare delicatamente l'unità per sbloccarla.
Uso del disco circolare per legno
ATTENZIONE: i dischi circolari per legno sono ideali per sfoltire
sterpaglia e tagliare piccoli alberi del diametro massimo di 5 cm. Non
tentare di tagliare alberi di diametro maggiore in quanto il disco può
rimanere bloccato e balzare in avanti. Questa condizione può
danneggiare il disco o determinare la perdita del controllo dell'unità
con conseguente rischio di gravi lesioni personali.
ATTENZIONE: i dischi per legno possono essere utilizzati
soltanto con la protezione appropriata (vedere tabella a pag. 63), il
manubrio e il cinghiaggio doppio dotato di meccanismo di sgancio.

Forestry clearing using a saw blade
• The risk of kickout increases with increasing stem size. You should
therefore avoid cutting with the area of the blade between 12 o'clock
and 3 o'clock (Fig.67).
• To fell to the left, the bottom of the tree should be pushed to the
right. Tilt the blade and bring it diagonally down to the right,
exerting firm pressure. At the same time push the stem using the
blade guard. Cut with the area of the blade between 3 o'clock and
5 o'clock. Apply full throttle before advancing the blade (Fig.68).
• To fell to the right, the bottom of the tree should be pushed to the
left. Tilt the blade and bring it diagonally up to the right. Cut with
the area of the blade between 3 o'clock and 5 o'clock so that the
direction of rotation of the blade pushes the bottom of the tree to
the left (Fig.69).
• To fell a tree forwards, the bottom of the tree should be pulled
backwards. Pull the blade backwards with a quick, firm movement
(Fig.70).
• If the stems are tightly packed, adapt your walking pace to suit.
• If the blade jams in a stem, never jerk the machine free. If you do
this the blade, bevel gear, shaft or handlebar may be damaged.
Release the handles, grip the shaft with both hands and gently pull
the machine free.
Using the circular saw blade
WARNING: Circular saw blades are suitable for thinning
brush and cutting small trees up to a diameter of 5 cm. Do not
attempt to cut trees with larger diameters, since the blade may
catch or jerk the clearing saw forward. This may cause damage to
the blade or loss of control of the clearing saw which may result
in serious injury.
WARNING: A saw blade can only be used in connection with
the proper guard (see table pag.63) a twin handle and double
harness with release mechanism.
