have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of
the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Even care and cleaning shall not be performed by young children
without supervision. Young Children must always be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with the appliance or the packaging.
• Do not use the appliance or any parts or accessories of the
appliance with any other device or for any other purpose than
described in this booklet.
• Always switch OFF the light (touch the ON/OFF sensor), remo-
ve any connected device, and unplug the power adapter, before
cleaning the appliance.
• Do not leave the appliance without supervision, while using it as
a power supply for any other devices (e.g. charging your mobile
phone).
• Always switch OFF the light (touch the ON/OFF sensor) and
unplug the power adapter, if you do not use the appliance for an
elongated period of time.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS FOR ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES
Connect the power adapter to a suitable protected mains power
supply. Ensure that the rating of your mains power supply corre-
spond to the requirements of the appliance (see: 'Technical Speci-
fications').
• In various foreign countries, the specifications for power sup-
plies are subject to incompatible norms. Therefore it is possible that
power supplies in foreign countries do not meet the requirements for
safe operation of the appliance. Thus, before operating the appli-
ance abroad, ensure that safe operation is possible.
