All the possibilities are not listed here, only the settings which are customary
and sound in practice.
Programme / Type of washing
Cottons (Koch-/Buntwäsche) : White or colour, e.g.,
normally soiled work clothes, bed linen, table linen,
body linen, towels.
40-60 Mix : At 40°C, this programme, like Cotton 60°C,
gives the best washing results while mixing cottons and
synthetics
Synthetics (Pflegeleicht) : Synthetic fabrics, body
linen, coloured fabrics, non-iron shirts, blouses.
Easy iron plus (Leichtbügeln plus): Reduces creasing
and makes ironing easier.
Delicates (Feinwäsche) : For all delicate materials, for
example, curtains.
Wool plus (Wolle plus) /
carrying the labels "pure new wool, machine washable,
does not shrink".
Rinse (Spülen) : Hand washed items can be rinsed in
this programme.
