CEILING FITTING
The appliance must be installed horizontally.
Leave sufficient space around the appliance for access and maintenance. If installing in a false ceiling, ensure that
the appliance can be accessed for regular inspection and maintenance.
Use the plugs provided to fix the clamp found in the box of the passive unit to the ceiling, fixing at an appropriate
distance from the outer wall of the home (Fig 1-5). Furthermore three washers are placed on the far side of the
arrow on each side between the ceiling and the holding to ensure the drainage of the resulting condensate.
Screw the knobs provided into the threaded holes of the side strip of the passive unit, leaving about 5mm of
thread free.
Lift the passive unit and slide the knobs horizontally in the guides of the ceiling clamp until the passive unit is in
position (Fig. 6).
Tighten the knobs to fix the unit tight to the clamp.
Connect a 16 Ø rubber pipe to the condensate discharge fitting, making sure to make a trap (Fig.7)
Fit the pipes connecting with the exterior into the plastic ports of the passive unit (Fig. 8).
Fit the connecting (distribution) pipes of the apartment into the ports of the fan unit (Fig. 8).
Apply duct tape or the like to the joints between the pipes and ports of the two units.
Remove the plastic cover below the fan unit (Fig. 9) and carry out the wiring as indicated in the relevant
chapter.
ALTERNATIVE FITTINGS
The appliance can be fixed to the floor, for example in a loft, using the appropriate supporting clamps (accessories
supplied on request). In this case, fix the panel of the passive unit and the terminal box of the fan unit facing upwards.
(Fig.10)
Make the hole to connect the condensate discharge on the opposite side to the access panel of the passive unit
(Outgoing air side) (Fig. 10) The outer mounting brackets will be underlayed by three washers on each side to
guarantee the outrunning of the condensate.
Use the knobs supplied to fix the floor clamps to the floor (Fig.11)
the condensate discharge pipe.
Tighten the knobs carefully, making sure that the two units are firmly fixed to the clamps.
Connect a 16 Ø rubber pipe to the condensate discharge fittings, making sure to make a TRAP.(Fig.12)
Use the plugs provided to fix to the floor.(Fig.
Fit the pipes connecting with the exterior into the plastic ports of the passive unit (Fig. 8).
Fit the connecting (distribution) pipes of the apartment into the ports of the fan unit (Fig. 8)..
Apply duct tape or the like to the joints between the pipes and ports of the two units.
Remove the plastic cover over the fan unit (Fig. 9) and carry out the wiring as indicated in the relevant chapter.
