AEREX RECO-BOXX 140 FLAT
1-10V / 0-10V INTERFACE OPERATION - DIAGRAM No.3
Through this operation the device speed is controlled continuously by a regulator or external signal 0-10V, for example
a signal from a centralized domotic system.
TIMER VERSION - DIAGRAM No.4
The Timer permits to delay (from 0 to 30 min.), adjusting the trimmer, the deactivation of the maximum speed.
Maximum speed is activated via external switch (not supplied), connected as per Scheme No.4
STANDARD OPERATION MODE
The temperature sensors positioned inside the heat recovery unit allow its optimal functioning, through continuous
temperature detection in the airflows.
If sensor n.3 detects the air temperature being > di 16°C the heat recovery unit operates as per original installation
settings.
If sensor n.3 detects the air temperature being < di 16°C the rotation speed of the intake motor is progressively
reduced until it comes to a complete stop, condition occurring once the sensor n.1 detects the temperature limit of
-5° C (antifreeze).
BY-PASS FUNCTION
For comfort reasons the air might be supplied to the rooms without passing through the heat exchanger and therefore
it is not thermally threated. This function is automatically triggered by a motorized shutter that is controlled by a
dedicated circuit using temperature sensors on the machine to control air inflows and outflows.
When sensor n.2 detects the air temperature being < di 22°C and, simultaneously, sensor n.1 detects the air
temperature higher (>) than the temperature being detected by sensor n.2, the bypass shutter opens automatically
and there is no heat exchange.
When sensor n.1 detects air temperature lower (<) than the one being detected by sensor n.2 but > 16°C while sensor
n.2 detects a temperature > di 22°C the bypass shutter opens automatically and there is no heat exchange.
In all other temperature conditions detected by the sensors, the bypass shutter remain closed allowing the heat
exchange.

DUCT AND DUCT CONNECTIONS
The duct layout must be designed by a person qualified of ventilation system to lower air flow resistance (for this
purpose minimize flexible connections).
Ensure that:
bends are
not near the unit vents;
exhaust and intake air streams are separated to avoid contamination;
intake and outlet ducts are insulated
an adequate distance occurs between external vents (incoming fresh air and outgoing stale air) to avoid
contamination.
