Apply a thick layer of anti-corrosive grease or
Vaseline to both poles under the hood. Mount the
hood back on the control box by means of its 2
mounting screws. Tighten the nuts of the glands
carefully to seal the compartment.
§4.2 - Battery switch mounted in the power pack
•
2 configurations are possible:
1. Separate control box without battery switch, the latter
mounted in the power pack [See Fig. 4.3]
2. Exterior controls integrated in the lid of the power pack
with premounted battery switch (= option S516.B...)
[See Fig. 4.2].
•
Lead the (+) battery cable coming from the battery through
one of the free lead-through rubbers in the casing of the
power pack. Connect the eye of the (+) battery cable to
the free pole of the battery switch, and lock the mounting
nuts tightly. [See Fig. 4.2 - 4.3 ]
