2. CABIN SWITCH
•
The cabin switch on the dashboard in the vehicle cabin
can execute 2 functions :
1. on/off switch for the electric power to the exterior con-
trol box
2. signal if the platform is stored in its travel position or
not.
•
Most truck manufacturers offer this switch as an option,
together with an electrical "VEHH" interface (electrical
cable with 7-pin Cannon plug available at the rear of the
truck chassis).
•
It is possible to retrofit a different cabin switch. For in-
stance Dhollandia's option S078 [See 1 on Fig. 2.1]. In
this case, the electrical cable and interface must be
mounted by the installer of the HTL.

In case of VEHH interface + option S070, plug the
non plug S070 from the power pack of the HTL in the
cannon plug on the vehicle chassis, and test all functions.
•
In the other case, mount the cabin switch S078 on a posi-
tion on the dashboard that is clearly visible from the
driver's seat. Mount the 4x1.5mm² cable S070.12 from the
cabin switch to the power pack of the HTL, following the
wiring diagrams in the annexes.
