3. Preparing the Product for
Operati on
3.1 Unpacking the scope of
supply
Check whether the scope of supply is
complete and free of defects immedi-
ately aft er opening the packaging. Con-
tact the seller immediately if the scope
of supply is incomplete or defecti ve. Do
not put the appliance into operati on if it
is defecti ve.

3.2 Keeping the original pa-
ckaging
Mount the stand to the appliance body us-
ing the screws provided.
Keep the original packaging in a safe
place over the enti re service life of the
product. Use the packaging for storing
and transporti ng the appliance. Only dis-
pose of the packaging aft er the product
service life has come to an end. You can
fi nd informati on on the proper disposal
in Chapter 8.
3.3 S etti ng up the appliance
The appliance may only be operated in
a secure, verti cal and stable positi on. Al-
ways observe the minimum distance of
100 cm to the front and 50 cm to all oth-
er sides, combusti ble objects and other
sources of danger.
