Note:
- Do not hold the radio close to your ear. If the volume is set to a high level, it may
cause hearing damage.
Transmit and receive:
1. To make a call, press and hold the [PTT] key, then speak into the microphone using
normal speaking voice. Hold the microphone approximately 3 to 4 cm from your
mouth.
2. Release the [PTT] to receive.
3. If a CTCSS/DCS code is programmed, you can receive only when the CTCSS/DCS
code matches the programmed into your radio.
