Problem solving
Problem
If the fan heater is
plugged in and the
thermostat is switched on,
there is a problem with
the fan heater function.
The heating element is
glowing.
The fan heater does not
emit heat even though the
fan is in operation.
Possible cause
The plug is loose.
The socket is not supplied
with power.
The voltage supplied to
the unit is either above or
below the recommended
value range.
The air inlet grille is
blocked.
The power controller is
not in a heating setting.
The thermostat was
working properly.
Solution
Remove the mains plug and examine the
connections of the plug and the socket.
Insert the mains plug firmly back into the
socket.
Connect the appliance to a socket that
works properly.
Only a power supply that corresponds to
the specifications on the type plate is
suitable for operating the unit.
Make sure that the air inlet of the product is
not covered by objects such as curtains,
plastic bags or paper.
Turn the power control knob to a heat
setting.
Turn the thermostat and listen for a clicking
sound, which may sound like opening or
closing. If you do not hear a click and the
thermostat is not damaged, the heating
element will be switched on automatically
as soon as the fan heater has cooled
down.
