OPERATION
Always turn off the desired device before connecting it to the USB port.
Make sure the connection is correct. If the product is not connected properly,
it could overheat or cause an electric shock or fire.
Make sure that your device meets the product's power requirements
(see technical data).
VERSION 08/15
If the product features more than one USB port, you can charge or operate several
devices at the same time. How to connect a single USB device is described below.
The current output of one single USB port must not exceed 2400 mA.
1. Connect the switched-off USB device to the product.
2. Plug the product into your vehicle's on-board voltage socket. The power indicator on the
product lights up to indicate the product is operational.
3. Your USB device is now charging. Should you wish to operate the USB device, you may
turn it on now.
4. Turn off the USB device before you disconnect the product from your vehicle's on-board
voltage socket.
5. Unplug the product from your vehicle's on-board voltage socket after use.
You can operate the product while the engine is both on or off. However, avoid starting
the engine while the product is connected as this cuts power to the voltage socket
briefly (this may not apply to all vehicle models). If the engine is switched off, drawing
current over a longer period of time will discharge the vehicle battery.
CLEANING
Disconnect the product from the on-board voltage socket before cleaning. Clean the product
with a dry, fiber-free cloth.
DISPOSAL
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with applicable
regulatory guidelines.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
