4.4 Function Test Mode
Press and hold button 1 while turning on the printer to access the function test
mode.
Use button 3 (
Except for the self test and printing memory switch settings, all functions are for
service personnel only. Do not operate those functions.
Self test
1. While pap er is loaded , press and hold button 1 while turning
the pow er on.
The function test mo de starts and "Sel f test" app ears on the
LCD.
2. Press button 4 (
Self test starts. The printer prints its mo del name, version, DIP switch setting s,
memory switch setting s, and a list of built-in fonts.
Note:
*: Printers with a USB interface do not have DIP switches, so the DIP switches all appear off on the
self test printout.
