Intended use

The pharmaceutical Bewades UV unit ("P") is used to disinfect and
destroy residual ozone in ultrapure water circuits for the production of
pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, medical technology and semi-conductors.
The pharmaceutical UV units are specifically designed for this application.
In particular, all media-carrying components are made of stainless steel
no. 1.4404 (corresponds to 316 L) and electropolished (peak-to-valley
height < 0.5 μm).
