6.2 Connection to the power supply system

Danger!
Failure to follow the instructions below may result in life threa-
tening electric shock or short circuit:
• Disconnect the power supply before installing the dishwasher.
• Ensure that proper earthing exists before use and do not,
under any circumstances, cut or remove the earthing connec-
tion from the power cord.
• Changes to the power supply and replacement of the socket
may only be carried out by a certifi ed electrician.
Caution!
To avoid overheating and burns, do not use an extension cord
or adapter plug with this appliance.
Electrical requirements and power supply
• Only connect the appliance to a power supply whose voltage and
frequency match the specifi cations on the rating plate.
• Provide a separate circuit for connecting the appliance and protect
it with a 10A/13A/16A fuse, a time-delay fuse or a circuit breaker.
• Insert the plug into a properly grounded power outlet.
