Introduction, function
■
If you ordered the version of the WallBox with current regulation function, then you can order a current measurement module. The purpose of this
module is to ensure that the maximum permitted current of the main circuit breaker is not exceeded by the simultaneous operation of the EV charging
station and other appliances in the building.
Installation of the measuring circuit
To install the measuring circuit correctly, follow these simple instructions:

Connect all three current transformers to the individual phases behind the circuit breaker, making sure that the locking mechanism on the
current transformers clicks into place.
■
The measuring circuit does not need a power supply and therefore it is not necessary to connect any wires or make any further intervention in
the electrical installation.
■
ATTENTION: the measuring current transformers must be connected to the wires that go through the main circuit breaker.
■
Next, connect the two-wire shielded cable to terminals A and B in the measuring module and to the same terminals in the charging station. Is
recommended to verify that the WallBox is receiving data from the transmitter: press and hold the button for at least 7s during charging. After
that, each blink of the purple LED indicates the reception of one packet from the transmitter. The LED should flash at least once per second if
there is sufficient current flowing through the main breaker to activate the measuring circuit.
Maximum current setting
The maximum value of the measured current is 60A (limit of current transformers), the minimum value of the measured current is 6A.
The measuring module is always connected behind the main circuit breaker so that it is placed on the main power wiring to the building.
The measuring module is already factory-configured to a value of 25A, however, the control behavior can also be changed additionally:

To change the maximum current setting via the main circuit breaker, press and hold the button on the WallBox (before connecting the cable to
the car). After 15s, the LED starts flashing white. Hold the button until it flashes the number of Amps you want to set. For example, if you want
to set 32A as the maximum on the main breaker, then hold it until the LED flashes 32 times.

If you set less than 6A as the main breaker value, then the WallBox will completely ignore the current flowing through the main breaker.
