Defrosting
CAUTION:
Never use metal objects (e.g. knifes) to remove ice
from the evaporator, it can be damaged.
During the defrosting process in the fridge, the
water drops drain off at the back wall of the cooling
chamber. The thaw water running through a channel,
is collected in a drip tray located on the compressor,
from which it then evaporates. Make sure that the
defrost water drain channel does not become
clogged. A slight formation of ice on the interior rear
wall during operation is normal.
A permanently high power level can lead to in-
→ set a lower power level and
creased ice formation
wipe the interior of the appliance dry.
