6. It is forbidden to slow down the pallet truck by turning the lever at a sharp angle
during moving.
7. It is forbidden to transport people by pallet truck.
8. It is not allowed to use the pallet truck as a jack.
9. It is not allowed to use the pallet truck fork as a lever to lift the loads.
10. The load should at all times be lifted centered on the forks of the pallet truck.
11. Do not charge more than the permitted maximum capacity.
12. It is not allowed to use the pallet truck in risky situations.
13. It is not allowed to use the pallet truck if one is tired or under the influence of
medication, alcohol and/or drugs.
14. It is not allowed to use the pallet truck in an explosive atmosphere.
15. The operator must wear the correct PPE (personal protection equipment) including
safety shoes and gloves.
16. When operating the pallet truck, other people at a distance of at least 1.5 m.
17. Under any special or risky working environment, the user must carry out all relevant
risk assessments and method statements before working with the pallet truck.
18. It is forbidden to use the pallet truck if there is a risk that the load may fall to the
bottom for example: from unsafe slopes, descents.
19. Users must carry out regular checks and maintenance.
20. Parking regulations
a. Don't park on a slope.
b. The forks must be completely lowered.
c. Press the emergency stop button.
21. Before using the pallet truck
a. User must be at the operating position.
b. Put the lever in the driving position
c. Test lifting, steering, speed, operation, horn and brake to make sure all
functions work normally.
22. Ensure the availability of firefighting facilities in the workplace. Do not use a flame to
check the battery and hydraulic system.
23. Check the braking, driving, alarm and safety system regularly and keep it in good
condition.
24. Keep the type plate and warning stickers clean and readable.
25. Check and maintain the lifting system regularly.
26. Check and maintain the hydraulic system regularly. Make sure there is no oil
leakage from the cylinder, hydraulic valve and other components of the hydraulic
system.
27. Park the electric pallet truck in clean spaces to ensure the least chance of fire.
28. Unauthorized modification is strictly prohibited.
