1. General information

Before you can start operating this machine, the instructions for use must first be fully read
and understood!!!
This manual contains important information for the proper way of installing, operating and
maintaining the equipment described herein. When using each electric pallet truck,
various risks of own injuries or property damage are encountered. Anyone who comes into
contact with the installation, maintenance or operation of the electric pallet truck must be
fully familiar with the contents of this manual. To protect you from personal injury or
property damage, follow the following instructions and instructions in this guide.
Each Mammuth electric pallet truck is produced in accordance with the Machinery
Directive 2006/42/EC. With each electric pallet truck, a manual will be provided including
conformity declaration. These must be well preserved and kept.
Because improvements to the equipment are constantly being made in the eye of the
quality, Mammuth has the right to alter specifications of the equipment described in this
manual.

Save the user manual

For the correct use of the manual, we recommend a number of things:
• Keep the user manual near the pallet truck in an accessible place.
•
Store the manual in a place where it's not damp.
•
Use the manual in a normal way without damaging it.
•
Any use of the machine by operators who are not familiar with the instructions and
procedures described in this handbook is strictly prohibited.
This user manual is part of the machine and should therefore be carefully stored at the
machine. When the machine changes hands, the user manual must be provided along
with the pallet truck.

Application

This series of electric pallet trucks is designed for transport on flat ground. It can be used for
both open and closed pallets.
Temperature requirement: Working temperature range: 5 - 40 degrees Celsius.
It is forbidden to lift persons and/or animals and/or to move them by pallet truck.

2. Safety

1. The user must read and understand all the warning signs and instructions in this
manual and on the pallet truck itself before he/she is allowed to operate the pallet
truck.
2. Do not use the electric pallet truck unless you are familiar with it, trained for it or are
responsible for it.
3. Check the device/machine before ANY use for missing/loose parts, distortions and
defects. In the event of one of the above mentioned cases, the machine should be
decommissioned immediately.
4. Never use the pallet truck on sloping floors or on a bad odd surface.
5. It is not allowed to use the pallet truck in insufficiently lit spaces.
