Brakes

General
It is often good to know which brake lever works on the
front wheel or the rear wheel, so that you will not be
suprised.
Hydraulic Rim brakes
Rim brakes are lightweight and provide a good sense of
control. You can use the rim brakes by using the brake
levers. When there is too much wear (if the notches are
no longer visible), the brake pads must be replaced.
The brake pads must be mounted in such a way
that the blocks hit the side completely by pressed-
in brake levers. The oil pressure needs to be at the
right pressure that there is the same amount of space
between both the brake pads and the rim. If this is not
the case, you can center the brake by adjusting the
screws on the sides of the brake. In that case, keep the
brake lever pinched and adjust the brake pads so that
they are correctly adjusted to the rim. Screw the screws
on the side back on tightly.
You may need to adjust the oil pressure by adding
more oil. To do this, consult your dealer for the right
equipment.

Hydraulic Disc brakes
Disc brakes have a powerful brake feeling with a high
level of control. You can use disc brakes by using the
brake levers.
The brake pads of the hydraulic disc brakes can be
adjusted by slightly turning the Allen bolts of the
mounting of the calipers. If you then use the brake
lever, you can center the caliper. Screw the screws back
on tightly.
You may need to adjust the oil pressure by adding
more oil. To do this, consult your dealer for the right
equipment.
