Adjuster "E2" (charging start)
Adjuster E2 is used to set the outside temperature (°C) at which charging is to begin. Specific
habits of users can be taken into consideration. No charging is performed at outside temperatures
above the setting value E2.
If too much or not enough heat is available in the case of mild outside temperatures, the charging
rate can be corrected at the adjuster E2. To prevent incorrect settings, it is advisable to alter the
adjuster only gradually, e.g. in steps of 2 degrees – corrections to the charging rate do not become
noticeable until the following day.
Adjuster "Ab" (reduced charging)
The charging characteristic determined by the adjusters E1 and E2 can be shifted using the
"reduced charging" adjuster for reduced charging in the range 0 to 100 %, provided that terminals
KU1 and KU2 are L and N (e.g. ripple control unit, remote telephone switch, time switch, etc.). This
allows many different requirements to be met, e.g.
increased or reduced charging at weekend
reduced day-time charging or reduced night-time charging
Setting correction in conjunction with group control unit ELFAMATIC G 3000
If one or more ELFAMATIC G 3000 group control units (dwelling stations) are connected
downstream of the ELFAMATIC V 3000, a correction (–36 % to +12 %) should be made at the
"charging" adjuster of the respective group control unit if the heat is too low or too high in
specific dwelling units only.
