Under "Percent (pct)%" you specify
the ratio of what percentage of the
total area within the boundary wire should
be mown.
The sum of the "Percent (pct)%" indication
of the 5 secondary ranges (Areas) must be
less than/equal to 100 %.

Restoring factory settings

The lawn mower can be reset to factory
settings here.
1. If necessary, open the cover (1).
2. Unlock the display (10) with the 4-digit
PIN (factory setting "1111").
3. Press the OK button (7) to enter the
main menu.
4. Use the arrow buttons (6) to select "Set-
tings".
5. Confi rm the selection with the OK but-
ton (7).
6. Use the arrow buttons (6) to select "Fac-
tory settings".
7. Confi rm the selection with the OK but-
ton (7).
The lawn mower switches off
and resets itself to the factory
setting.
Reading out the work and
error log
1. If necessary, open the cover (1).
2. Unlock the display (10) with the 4-digit
PIN (factory setting "1111").
3. Press the OK button (7) to enter the
main menu.
4. Use the arrow buttons (6) to select "Set-
tings".
5. Use the arrow buttons (6) to select "In-
formation".
6. Use the arrow buttons (6) to select "Er-
ror log" or "Work log".
The error and work log can be
read out here.
7. Press the back button (5) to return to the
main menu.
Checking/Performing a
fi rmware upgrade
1. If necessary, open the cover (1).
2. Unlock the display (10) with the 4-digit
PIN (factory setting "1111").
3. Press the OK button (7) to enter the
main menu.
4. Use the arrow buttons (6) to select "Set-
tings".
5. Use the arrow buttons (6) to select "Ver-
sion check".
A check is made to see if a
more recent fi rmware is availa-
ble. If yes, it will be downloaded and
installed automatically.
6. Press the back button (5) to return to the
main menu.

Charging

Do not expose the battery to ex-
treme conditions such as heat and
shocks. There is a risk of injury from
leaking battery fl uid! In case of contact
with eyes or skin, rinse the affected sites
with water or a neutralising agent and
seek medical attention.
Only charge the battery with the
enclosed power adapter or an
approved Parkside X 20 V series
charger.
• Charge the battery before using it for
the fi rst time.
• If the operating time is considerably
shortened despite charging, this shows
that the rechargeable battery is deplet-
