10 Maintaining the device
10.1 Check the device annually
➤ Have the gas system and connected flues inspected before initial operation and
then annually by an authorized professional to ensure they comply with the
national safety requirements.
➤ Keep a record of any maintenance performed.

WARNING!
The following tasks may only be carried out by a qualified person.
➤ In particular, the following functions must be checked:
– Absence of gas leaks
– Burning safety and flame stability
– Fresh air supply
– Safety and regulating devices (burner taps)
➤ Check that the installation location conforms to the applicable local regulations.
➤ Check the following components for dirt and clean them, if necessary:
– Gas outlets on the burner
– Burner heads
– Thermal element
➤ Check that the distance between the burner head and thermal element (approx.
1 – 3 mm) is correct.
10.2 Replacing the injector

The following tasks may only be carried out by a qualified person.
➤ Block the injector holder (with the use of a tool) when removing and mounting
the injectors (fig. f, page 7).
