7.8 Replacing a gas cylinder

WARNING! Risk of injury
• Using a gas or a pressure that does not comply with the manufac-
turer's specifications can cause the device to malfunction.
• Shut off the gas supply after use.
• Only change the gas cylinder with good ventilation and ensure that
there is no source of ignition or open flame nearby.
• Only change the gas cylinder when the device is switched off.
• Only use propane or butane gas bottles with an approved pressure
reducer and a suitable head piece. Compare the pressure informa-
tion on the type plate with the pressure information on the propane
or butane gas cylinder.

NOTE
The manufacturer recommends using an approved electronic gas
detector.
Regular commercial gas cylinders, as ordinarily available in the country in which the
device was bought, can be used. The applicable gas type is clearly stated on the out-
side of the packaging and on a sticker on the rear of the device.
Observe the following instructions when replacing a gas cylinder:
• The gas cylinder must be placed vertically in the space provided.
• The gas cylinder must be equipped with a valve and pressure reducer.
• Access to the gas cylinder may not be restricted.
