declares that the following product:
Product name: Gas leak detector GS 220
complies with key safety requirements set down in the guidelines of the Council for the
Harmonisation of the Legal Requirements of the Member States in relation to electro-
magnetic compatibility (89/336/EWG and 73/23/EWG).
This declaration is awarded following tests carried out on samples of the product refer-
red to above. Assessment of compliance of the product with the requirements relating
to electromagnetic compability was based on the following standards:
EN 61326 : 1997 + A1 : 1998 + A2 : 2001 + A3 : 2003
EN 61000-4-2: 1995+A1:1998+A2 : 2001
EN 61000-4-3 : 2006
This declaration is based on third party measurements.
8. Warranty and Service
8.1 Warranty
Every gas leak detector GS 220 has been subjected to a thorough functional check
and only leaves our factory after detailed quality control. The final inspection is recor-
ded in detail in a test report and is kept by us on our premises. If the device is used
correctly, the guarantee period is 12 months from the date of purchase. This guarantee
does not cover wear and tear parts.
The guarantee does not include the costs for transport and packing material in case
of repair. It will expire, if third persons, who are not authorized, repaire or change the
device.
We see SERVICE as a very important element in our business. That is why we are still
available to you even after the guarantee period has expired.
• If you send us the meter, it will be returned to you by our delivery service after
repair in just a few days.
• You can obtain immediate help from our engineers by telephone.
