8. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Caution! Switch the device off before cleaning.
Caution! Do not use alcohol, acetone, benzene, abrasive cleaning agents, etc., in order
to clean the parts made of synthetic material. Also, do not use hard brushes or metallic
objects.
Clean the hair clipper after each use.
20. While cleaning, the hair clipper must not be charging.
21. The casing of the hair clipper can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Make sure that water does
not get into the insides of the device.
Do not immerse the hair clipper in water!
22. Dry all parts thoroughly before using the device again.
23. Store the hair clipper (preferably in the original packaging) in a cool, dry place, protected
from humidity.

8.1 ATTACHING AND REMOVING THE BLADE UNIT:

Before removing the blade unit, remove the comb guide.
24. Fig.1: Tilt the
downwards. The blade can now
be cleaned.
25. Fig. 2 & 3: In order to reattach
the blade unit, insert the blade
unit into the notch of the device.
26. Fig. 4 & 5: Make sure that the
swinging arm is inserted in the
corresponding
clipping arm.

downwards until it is locked in
place.

8.2 CLEANING THE BLADE UNIT:

28. Remove the blade unit as
described above.
29. With a brush (7), remove hair left in the clippers and on the blade unit.
30. Place lubricating oil on the blades. Wipe off the excess oil with a cloth.
31. Reattach the blade unit as described above.
32. Switch the device on for a couple of seconds in order for the oil to distribute evenly on the
blades.
